I feel this is mostly masculine, however I think with a women's body chemistry, it could soften the scent and make it something sexy! I really like the juniper in this scent, plays well with the basil/herbal facets and the citrus keeps it quite bright. Too soapy in fact and not the 'type' of soapiness I enjoy. The "citrus infusion" as they describe it, has some heft. Opens with the crisp citrus and slowly mellows with the peppermint and berries which gives it that rich royalty fresh scent.. One of my favorite spring/summer fragrances.. The Timken load test shows that this Royal Purple HPS has about 9 times the film strength of the Royal Purple SAE 5w20 and regular Mobil 1 5w20. Top notes are Citruses and Mint; middle notes are Juniper Berries and Basil; base notes are Musk and Ambergris. I have always loved very clean, uncomplicated citrus scents but it seems, in Australia at least, they have been out of style. The juniper berry in this fragrance is amazing and such a key note.
